[FETE MONDIALE] H2G2 : The Towel Day on 25/05/2010

J'espère que cette année, vous fêterez le jour de l'essuie de bain en hommage à Douglas Adams ! Soyez nombreux ce 25 mai prochain à vous promener fièrement avec votre serviette de toilette autour du cou : au travail, à la maison, dans la rue, bref tout partout et postez une photo-preuve sur le forum international.

Je pense faire une réunion Towel Day à Tournai le 25 mai au soir. Venez nombreux avec votre serviette-éponge autour du cou célébrer la fin du monde !

For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Non, non ! Sérieux ! C'est tout les ans le 25 mai dans le monde entier en hommage à Douglas Adams, l'humoriste anglais auteur de H2G2 "Le GUide du Routard Galactique". Cette année je le fête en allant bosser avec une serviette de bain autour du cou et peut-être même mon peignoir et mes espadrilles et le soir je donne rendez-vous à tous ceux qui veulent venir (avec leur serviette) au pied du Beffroi de Tournai. On attendra de 19h à 19h30 et on ira boire des bières belges au Cornwall le pub celtique à 200 m de là après.
